Forged Alliance Freezes after ~45 Minutes of Game Play on New Client

Since downloading the new FAF client, after a match lasts about 45 minutes, the client freezes.

• Mouse moves but can't click on anything
• The screenshot would normally minimize FAF and bring me to the desktop, but now it brings up the linux panel but you still can't click on it and FAF occupies the rest of the screen.
• Can exit holding ctrl alt del and logging in and out, or shutting down after logging out
• Also occurs if the game is just on pause for that length of time

#6 is possibly relevant, but I had not experienced any problems until updating the client today. I was using NVIDIA before. I have also tried an Intel IGU. The problem happened with both.

While the issue didn't occur before updating the client, the cause was not related to this script or FAF:

Regressing to the 515 NVIDIA driver solved the issue.
