Program doesn't update window on SSH connection until trying to close the program

Opened this issue · 1 comments

Observed behaviour:
Doesn't update screen while in SSH until trying to close the program, functionality might restore after some time. Program restart helps immediately.

Expected behaviour:
Program should update the screen immediately on use

Replication:
Open program and SSH to something
Leave for x time
Return and try to do something (write to terminal)

Used on Surface Pro 3 Windows 8.1. The connection never breaks, Putty just doesn't update the screen until pressing X to close the screen.

I've never seen of or heard of anything like this.

  • I don't have access to Surface hardware; is it significantly different to Win8.1?
  • Does it happen with upstream PuTTY?
