How to contribute in adding a new endpoint support ?

Hello,

I've been looking at the code in NGSI.js file in order to add a new endpoint support but got confused.
Is there any documentation somewhere ?
Or which steps to follow ?
I would like to be able to contribute properly :)

A subsidiary question: where should I open a PR ? I've seen a lot of different active forks/branches and I'm a little bit lost.
