I was having trouble installing MetaErg, thanks for making this helper! I have the MetaErgInstallHelper environment active and trying to run 'metaerg.pl --help', but I get the error '-bash: metaerg.pl: command not found'. metaerg.pl is not in the MetaErgInstallHelper directory anywhere (not in bin directory or anywhere else) but /metaerginstall/bin in my $PATH.

Ah I realized it was my perl environment interfering with the installation - all fixed and working now!
