- The grey font in the footer is low contrast - can we check to make sure that complies to our standards?
- the footer could use a shadow, or a different color background to show it is separate from the main content.
- Should the links in the footer should comply with our rules and have the "external link" icon?

@ericawright what is the status on this? Is it up for discussion? I agree that the text is low-contrast. I think that the footer is distinguishable from the rest of the page because of the dark line above it, and does not a shadow, etc.
