My characters mouth gets stuck, any fixes?

Every time i try to move my characters mouth in blender, half of the mouth is melted together and no matter what i try i cant find a solution, ive seen a different thread talking about it, however the files are different for the newer releases so it doesnt apply anymore.
Heres what i mean with the mouth being stuck,
