The battery extender setting is not working.

Steps To Reproduce

Battery fully charged to 100%
After 10 days and not removing the power, the laptop is always staying at 99-100%.
Changed setting to 3 days, after 7 days always at 99-100%
Also tried to use the laptop at battery for a hour (setting to 30 minute) and plug in.
Same result, permanently staying at 99-100%
At 99% it is saying charging and few minutes later it changes to 100%.

Update for this issue: Laptop was since the last post (approx 2 weeks) constantly on the power line.
Current battery state: 100%, fully charged.

@Contralto0 Could you help to provide your BIOS settings about the battery extender?

Also, there are 2 mechanisms that will reset the battery extender timer.

  1. During the "Battery Extender Trigger" days (Default is 5 days), entering the BIOS setup menu and then saving and exiting will reset the timer.
  2. Removing the AC adapter for more than 30 minutes(Default) will reset the timer. You can modify the value of "Battery Extender Reset" in BIOS

@quinchou77 Yes, see attached.
For your two points: I have during this time always plugged the laptop in (now for more then 3 weeks) and have not changed or saved any bios setting, so the counter should not reset.
