failed to copy './asl-native' to '/data/local/asl-native': Permission denied

Hi, I am using ASL to take screenshot. But to install ASL, in command prompt, 
when i give : "adb push ./asl-native /data/local/asl-native", it shows "failed 
to copy './asl-native' to '/data/local/asl-native': Permission denied". Can 
someone please help me proceed with this issue..??
