emacsclient

I have been waiting for so long to see a new TB extension for external editor.
But I have to give up on this one - did not get anything other than a cryptic screen message: "failed to talk to messaging host".

Maybe, some experienced user can provide a example for emacsclient (not for emacs, I am not running multiple instances) with a clear instruction what is needed to get it work?

What is the meaning of the "/path/to/temp.eml" ? I always thought that the reply message is the eml file that should be edited.
