music japan doesn't work
Channels registered under the "primehome" category in "playlist_japan.m3u8" have been updated to a system that denies access to Primehome's channels by the people who don't have a contract with the distribution company (i.e. people who try to watch for free using "playlist_japan.m3u8" posted on github).
Channels with the URL (http://cdns.jp-primehome.com:8000/zhongying/live/playlist.m3u8?cid=**XX) in "playlist_japan.m3u8" on Free-TV/IPTV can no longer be accessed, so please remove them from the playlist.
Channels with the URL "http://cdns.jp-primehome.com:8000/zhongying/live/playlist.m3u8?cid=****"
are distributed to Japanese viewers who live outside of Japan and have "paid subscriptions".
Before it became impossible to watch, if you knew the URL for each channel of jp-primehome, outside parties could easily access it using a video player(VLC player etc.) and watch it "for free" , so someone who knew this secret method made a playlist and uploaded it to github.
Previously, only a very small number of people with a certain level of knowledge were able to access it.
But recently several famous PC and gadget YouTubers in Japan have been explaining this secret access method in detail in their YouTube videos, which has resulted in a large number of access to primehome's server by the YouTube viewers living in Japan who don't have paid contracts with distribution providers.
This has become known to the providers, who have taken measures to prevent it, and a system is now in place that denies access to anyone from within Japan who tries to watch "for free".
such a major bummer. that channel music japan was really cheering me up. are you absolutely sure theres no way around it?
@makimaki69 makimaki69 : NHK BS has also 8K channel (NHK BS8K ) as satellite TV. Is there a provider for IPTV ? Or is there a way to watch online ?
