Public Profile and Family sharing

So I have several steam accounts that share games by family sharing with my main account, which is linked to the gog galaxy.
The problem is, that after some time my steam account switches from Steam Network to Public Profiles and remains so. And when that is happening the family sharing stop working in the sense that the games from family sharing that are already in the library stay there, but no new games from family sharing accounts show after that. I need to unlink and relink my steam account so that it switches back to Steam Network from Public, only after that those new games from family sharing accounts are showing in the gog galaxy. But relinking the steam account is just not an option, because every time my entire steam library is reuploaded, I'm losing my custom covers, and sometimes some of the games lose their custom gog tags (shrug).

So is there any way to switch back the steam account from Public Profile to Steam Network without relinking the entire account and all data?
