The current policy works well for us and we are not going to change it. It's unfortunate if this is causing you distress, but that's just something you'll have to live with.

OK. The openSUSE build service policy disallows shipping pre-built binaries in the source RPMs and reminds maintainers to first notify upstream about the problem before applying a SUSE-only patch to fix it.
