Display: Notifications display no Notifs, but list 15+

Description
The notifications button under "Home" displays no number in it to say there is a notification, however, when clicking on the icon, 4 new messages and 8 friends requests are displayed. These notifications, however, are not interactable.
Expected Behavior
Either no notifications should display, there should be a way to clear them, or notifications should be displayed with the correct number.
Actual Behavior
Zero notifications are displayed with 15 uninteractable notifications.
Steps to Reproduce
- Load the site
- Navigate to the "Home" tab
- Click on the "notifications" bell icon in the top right.
- Attempt to interact with one of the notifications.
Your Environment
- Version used: 0.5
- Environment name and version (e.g. Chrome 39, node.js 5.4): Firefox 77.0.1
- Operating System and version (desktop or mobile): Windows 10 (Desktop)
