[BUG] V-Shell hides main panel but can't click on main panel tools in overview mode

Closed this issue · 3 comments

Describe the bug
With main panel in top position, visible in overview only, it appears in overview but can't click on the various main panel tools. Clicking on wifi / power / settings, for instance, just goes back to the workspace, doesn't pull up wifi / power /settings menu.

Basic debug information

  • Did disabling all other extensions help? NO
  • Did you find conflicting extension? N/A

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1/ V-shell settings: Layout / Panel / Main Panel Position / Panel Visibility : Overview Only
2/ press meta/windows key to bring up overview
3/ click on power/wifi/settings in upper right corner

Expected behavior
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.

Expected: pull up menu with settings such as volume, screen brightness, power, network etc.

Actual: goes back to active workspace

Of note, menu does work as expected if top bar is always visible, including in overview mode
