I understand the idea of using Heimdall to imply "seeing" further or more than one normally would, unfortunately there already is a long standing Heimdall program in linux. Its the Samsung Android device firmware fiddling counterpart to Odin on Windows...
AFAIK git doesn't have a general discussion area for repos, so I used the issues section to leave that comment. Interesting project though, I have a few esp powered smart bulbs, makes me curious to see if I can utilize your work with them...
