Error opening active fault files for Google Earth

Hi there,
Thank you for making these databases public! I wanted to use the global active fault database for Google Earth but when opening the file I get an error - this occurs with both the regular active faults file and the harmonized version.

Error while parsing file "C:/Users/.../gem_active_faults.kml" at line 9, column 0:
Unexpected element "html"
