Remote Input plugin not working with X11

Describe the bug
I'm using Fedora Workstation 39, and switched from Wayland to Xorg for some reason. Since this change, I'm not able to use the remote input feature (switching back to wayland is working).
I found an closed issue where it was specified to set GNOME_SETUP_DISPLAY (:1 in my case), I did it without success. From what I read, it is supposed to be already fixed by using two others variables, which are currently set:
XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP: GNOME
XDG_SESSION_DESKTOP: gnome-xorg
Steps to reproduce
- Install Fedora 39
- Switch to xorg display
- Try to use remote input
Expected behavior
Remote input should move my mouse

Same issue if installed from gnome-shell website
mybad, it is indeed fixed in v57, but wasn't available for gnome-shell 45. Upgrading to 46 allowed me to get the last version of gsconnect, fixing the issue.
