105 = 60 Limit. Can't set 72 for 144 Hz Monitors, 75 FPS for 75 Hz monitors, etc.

Because of Screen Tearing on my 144 Hz screen, I was able to remove it by locking FPS to 72 and turning on "Scanline Sync" (VSync) with RivaTuner. But unluckily after installing 2dfx with the Limit Adjuster, I am not able to play in 72 FPS because 60 FPS is max I can set.
I thought I could just comment out that one line to fix this issue, but unfortunately it hasn't solved the problem. Like this:

144 Hz monitors are good to play at 72 FPS.
120 Hz at 60 FPS, 75 Hz at 75 FPS, 165 Hz at 55 FPS I guess, 180 Hz at 60 FPS, etc.

EDIT: Nevermind. Setting an FPS limit in Rivatuner to 72 or other higher value, limits the FPS always to 60. I don't know why.
