Question - how much more performant is VAT over Alembic?

I mean - Alembic must be doing something similar under the covers unless the Unity implementation is really crude?

Sorry for the super late reply.
Well Alembic is doing everything on the CPU side and it's REALLY slow ... that is the reason why I've made this tool, so my students can use Alembic animations in unity, as it was using all the CPU budget for just a couple of VFX.

Thank you for providing the tool. I want to know the maximum number of fixed points supported by this tool. I have tested the crushing effect, but failed, about 10,000 pieces
