Bug: commands G4

Applies to Brovo firmware printers

I have a problem with the G4 command.
It seems to work, but I think it's not working properly. My printer is clogged.

Your problem description is too vague for anyone to do anything about it.

Hello harlyh.
😉

Brovo printers are printers equipped with a GTM32 Pro series controller.
The error that I report is known to the Geeetech team.

Due to your concerns, I will explain it additionally:

  • the G4 command is recognized by the interpreter, but it is executed incorrectly,
  • In my opinion, it leads to the suspension of the controller. At least such a symptom occurs.

For example: after issuing a G4 S5 command, the printer does not react to the sequence of commands, the buffer does not accept further commands. To end this command, the printer must be restarted.
After issuing this command sometimes strange things happen, in slicer program.Probably the printer incorrectly responds to queries.
