I just read for the first time about this project 1.5h ago. Some hacking later, my project is a standalone binary happily serving static files and html and text templates without a hitch, and it's compatible with the cgo extension. I'm not a gopher, but this is the kind of magic that can make me one. Thanks for all the code!
