I'm not sure this affects all usage, it appears most commonly after fun in the errors, but it does show up for the following files in OTP:

  • lib/inets/src/http_server/httpd_logger.erl
  • lib/kernel/src/erpc.erl
  • lib/kernel/src/global_search.erl
  • lib/kernel/src/inet_tcp_dist.erl
  • lib/kernel/src/logger_proxy.erl
