Scatter 11 and 12 (still) not working on Linux (Mint)

So I haven't used Scatter for a while. I downloaded the latest version for Linux (I'm using Linux Mint) and made the file executable. I then launched it, inputted my recovery phrase without any problem, and then entered a new password. Now, I am stuck at a white screen with the beautiful Scatter logo and an infinite loading ring.

When I launch from terminal:
(node:22372) UnhandledPromiseRejectionWarning: TypeError: Error processing argument at index 0, conversion failure from /tmp/.mount_linux-QLR6cH/resources/app.asar/electron/../static/icons/icon-tray.png
at setupTray (/tmp/.mount_linux-QLR6cH/resources/app.asar/electron/app.js:70:9)
at App.createScatterInstance (/tmp/.mount_linux-QLR6cH/resources/app.asar/electron/app.js:164:2)
at processTicksAndRejections (internal/process/task_queues.js:86:5)
(node:22372) UnhandledPromiseRejectionWarning: Unhandled promise rejection. This error originated either by throwing inside of an async function without a catch block, or by rejecting a promise which was not handled with .catch(). (rejection id: 1)
(node:22372) [DEP0018] DeprecationWarning: Unhandled promise rejections are deprecated. In the future, promise rejections that are not handled will terminate the Node.js process with a non-zero exit code.

Do I need to do anything to make Scatter works on Linux? I just can't remember how I made it work last time. If Linux users need to do something special in order to pass the loading ring problem, I think it would be beneficial for the community if that was explained on the download page.

p.s. I tried "sudo sysctl kernel.unprivileged_userns_clone=1" and it doesn't work.
p.s.s. When I access https://support.get-scatter.com/ to get help, I am told by my browser that the site is not secure. Now, THAT's a big problem.
