Start and end time of event changes after saving

I know of two workflows when creating a new event;
workflow 1: go to team, click button underneath team page [Host a Get Together]
workflow 2: click [Host a Get Together] from the menu, add a team lateron

When using workflow 2, the start and end date+time of my events, change after I first saved them. I can update them in the event details lateron and then they're kept as I entered them.
The strange thing is that they don't always change the same amount of time. I first noticed that the start+end time adds one hour, even adds a day if the end time was just before midnight.
But in one of my events it even added 2 hours.

When using workflow 1, the times are saved as I entered them so no problem there.

Is there somehow an interaction with the current location or OS region/language when a user follows workflow 2?
