Open VSX Extension Upload?

Is it possible to upload this extension to Open VSX so I can access this extension through my GitPods dev environment?

I use VSCodium, I would also find it helpful if this extension was published in the non-propriety extension repo open-vsx.org.

To me it would be very helpful as well to be able to use the matlab-language highlight in VSCodium. Thanks for your effort!
