GUI .exe fails to open, citing lack of permission

Describe the bug
GUI executable fails to open with the error _WIndows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item. _
To Reproduce
Download the latest GUI and open the .exe
Expected behavior
The GUI application should open normally

Additional context
i tried to resolve the error by running the app with administrator privileges and trying to open it after moving it to a separate drive, as well as an external pen drive. No luck, the program still gives the same error.
I've never seen this before, do you have an antivirus running? I'm thinking that It may have blocked the execution

Hey, thanks for the response. And yes, I use Windows Defender. I disabled it completely before trying to open the program when I got the error. Still no luck.
Have you already tried to redownload the executable with antivirus and windows defender disabled?
