Extra backslash in Page Links and bulleted lists

When I copy the title of this page and the URL, it adds the escape backslash - why?

Hence it appears like this in Preview mode in Obsidian. I would like it to turn off escape here as well as around bolded texts.

Sorry for the false positive. this is inserted by Obsidian. I have found a setting in Editor which talks about converting HTML to markdown which does this. So, this is NOT an issue with this plugin. Thank you for the wonderful features built into the plugin
