[BUG] Crashes immediately with latest game/mod on Steam Deck

Describe the bug

Game doesn't start. Crashes immediately.

Looked ok on my Windows PC.

To Reproduce

Install fresh copy of the game. Follow Unix/Linux instructions as usual.

Also tried

  • Installing latest bepinex valheim to see if that would fix.
  • OpenGL and Vulkan/default

I just went through setting up bepinex and v+ on a Deck. Is your game launch settings ./start_game_bepinex.sh %command%? Try changing it to ./start_game_bepinex.sh || %command%, that got it to start for me.

This starts Valheim without V+.

This starts Valheim without V+.

shrug it definitely started Valheim+ for me. Haven't touched it in a long time though, maybe things have changed.
