Short instructions for such a dashboard:

• search messages inside stream, click a message
• you can expand fields on the left sidebar and click "Generate Chart" for histograms, "Quick Values" for piecharts or "World Map" for the map (only if your field contains Geodata)
• you can then add these charts, maps, whatever to a dashboard ("Add to dashboard" at the top right of the element)
• you can customize, move and resize the elements on a dashboard
