Antitrust Policy

Linux Foundation meetings involve participation by industry competitors, and it is the intention of the Linux Foundation to conduct all of its activities in accordance with applicable antitrust and competition laws. It is therefore extremely important that attendees adhere to meeting agendas, and be aware of, and not participate in, any activities that are prohibited under applicable US state, federal or foreign antitrust and competition laws.

Examples of types of actions that are prohibited at Linux Foundation meetings and in connection with Linux Foundation activities are described in the Linux Foundation Antitrust Policy available at http://www.linuxfoundation.org/antitrust-policy. If you have questions about these matters, please contact your company counsel, or if you are a member of the Linux Foundation, feel free to contact Andrew Updegrove of the firm of Gesmer Updegrove LLP, which provides legal counsel to the Linux Foundation.

NOTES:

  • from @vaughanknight RE: v1.3 - is that for graduation? if there are no functional updates it should be 1.2.1 etc, maybe use vNext tag for releases with unknown next version
  • @YaSuenag seconds this (to use v1.2.x vs v1.x for documentation changes)
  • To unblock #404 , we need #420 as well as fix (https://github.com/Green-Software-Foundation/carbon-aware-sdk/actions/runs/6879323122/job/18711361618?pr=404) we need either a manual check of the workflow or adapt the workflow to look for the swagger/openapi definition in a wildcard directory (@danuw looking at the second option)
  • keep #404 in v1.2 , if there are breaking changes in workflows/others due to the upgrade - reevaluate during next call at the release
  • @YaSuenag @tiwatsuka would like for #422 to be in the next release, decision to put this in the next release AFTER v1.2 (either before/after graduation)
  • REMINDER: Graduation minor release for the project is aimed for beginning of January, OC meeting
  • ACTION ITEM: Update to docs: Release schedule - "at most once per month, as frequent as possible" to update in README.md and CONTRIBUTING.md
  • To reconsider during next call: #366
