Would also requires some language specific config for selecting quasi neighbors. Likely a list of nodes which's children should be considered quasi-neighbors, namely all operations.

Added via Selection Mode in 2.0.5. Pressing Shift Shift takes you into selection mode where you can use up/down to extend/shrink the selection and left/right to select siblings. I could also add extra shortcuts, but am not sure about which ones I'd pick yet.
