Instructions/metadata for manually uploaded csv's

For those data sources that we're uploading a csv or an image directly, do we have a place within github to keep track of how that data was produced? I added a small blurb when I uploaded pollution_sites.csv but not sure how visible that is or what our system is.

That is a great point and I don't know the answer. Perhaps a discussion point for an upcoming seaside chat. Agree, if we are uploading .csv files directly we should keep a good record of where they came from.
