Origins++ conflict with nightvision

basically I have origins and origins++ installed, I'm the moth origin which should be able to see in the dark but it doesn't seem to be working. I am using a modpack if you want exact results

steps to reproduce

  1. install both true darkness and origins++
    2.create world and select moth origin
    3.find someplace dark
  2. The night vision can be toggled with I but doing so does nothing

This is likely due to how the Origins mod is handling their night vision effect, as this doesn't occur with the regular potion effect. I might try to implement a workaround that simply turns off the darkness effect when using the night vision ability.

The same thing happens with the Merlins 'Wet Eyes' ability. Toggling the ability underwater shows no difference.

When floating right at the surface, you can see that the fog in the distance actually gets brightened, but the water and ground doesnt.
