New Course Outline and Notes

• Day 1: start with a no computer exercise explaining data science and then demonstrate the power of knowing a programming language and the utility of R. End with lead-up to ending with a Hackathon style project.
• Day 2: layout the basic workflow of data science. Challenge students with exercises to learn: 0) Data Management, 1) Basic Analysis, 2) Sharing Results, Data and Code.
• Day 3: Hackathon - challenge the class to assemble in teams to tackle a problem.
