Are contributions welcome?
This is a well designed library, and I'd be happy to help improve it and get it ready for a release. I already have it pulled down and working on my environment. If contributions are welcome, I'll gladly create a few issues and pull requests to collaborate.

For sure! I'm more than happy to collaborate. I've been meaning to pick this up again but other projects have taken priority.
The current state of the codebase is effectively a proof of concept, so anything that moves it beyond that is fine with me :)
