Describe the bug
After updating to 2.1.9 I don't see the timers. The attack values and other trackers are still on-screen and behave correctly.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
-
Launch a standard ladder game.
-
See the timers are not displayed.
-
Clearing and re-checking the timer display checkbox doesn't help.
Game mode
- [X ] Standard
- Wild
- Classic
- Arena
- Battlegrounds
- Duels
- Tavern Brawl
- Dungeon Run/Book of Heroes/Book of Mercenaries
- Single Player
(I have no reason to believe it's limited to standard but that's what I tested.)
Version (please complete the following information):
2.1.9
Are you sure this is going on? I had this one opened and closed yesterday: #1273
Does the problem persist if you restart HST and/or Hearthstone?
I've been seeing this too playing Arena, and also the opponents' card turns all showing as 0. Persists across restarts of both HSTracker and Hearthstone. Running 2.1.9 on macOS 12.4.

Just to confirm, what is the build number of HSTracker? There was an early build that got deleted. I just released 2.1.10, can you give it a try and see if the issue persists? If it does, please attach the HSTracker log file to see if anything jumps out.
@fmoraes74, I was the one that opened the report originally and then closed because it started working but it only worked for a couple of games and then the issues started to happening again. after the timers worked and stopped working again they kept showing up in my games but always frozen from the values of the last game when they worked

@punkrockid Is it the issue with the 2nd game and after? I haven't seen the issue yet, so I need to find some context. Version 2.1.10 is out if you can give it a try.
Mostly all the games I've played since the update have had the issue. it's only been like 2 random games where it worked again and never again since then. would attaching a log file help debug this?

I can't really say if it will help but at this point, try with the latest version. If it still happens, please attach a log so that I can look for anything abnormal. But it is hard to fix this if I don't see the issue myself yet. I will try a little bit more later.
OK, just played a game with 2.1.10 and had the same issue with the timers and opponent card turns. I've attached the hstracker.log file, the game I was played starts around the 14:23:04.383 timestamp.
Nothing obvious. Are you playing in full screen?
Thanks for the input. If you can, try running HS in the main monitor and see if the issue persists. Try also HS in Window mode. I will try to find what's going on and see if I can find which data synchronization fix could have caused this
OK, played a couple more games in window mode, trying both monitors, and no difference in behavior with any configuration. Also tried toggling things like the "show timers" pref on/off. Attached the latest log.
I'll try with 2.1.10 now. The version of 2.1.9 I had wasn't one of the bad versions, I downloaded it a few hours after the flurry of 2.1.9 emails occurred. FWIW, it did persist after restarting both HSTracker and Battle.Net & Hearthstone. I run in windowed mode on a Mac Studio with 2 monitors attached, HS in the main monitor.
Nope. 2.1.10 also didn't show the timers
hstracker.log
.
Ok, I can see the problem, just need to figure out the cause. Please be patient.
Good news is that I identified the problem and have a fix being tested. I will try to make a release with the fix hopefully by tomorrow.
Awesome, thanks for the quick turnaround!
Version 2.1.11 is out and should have this working properly now. Please comment out when you have a chance to try it out.
Just played a game with 2.1.11 and the timers are back. Thanks!
I'm sorry I forgot to post back here after testing. Yes. With 2.1.11 the timers are back for me. Thanks for the prompt fix!
