New beta or stable release

Would it be possible to get a new beta or stable release for this module. It protects against unintended updates for production sites using the module.

Along with this, we've begun to use a changelog generator to help create a good reference for release changes. There's a little bit of setup, but it beats manually creating them for each release. The additional info noted for each release is a huge help in skimming through fixes, enhancements and everything in between.
