feature request: remove ONLY trailing carriage return

Is there an easy way to add a delimiter that tells R.rsp to just only remove the trailing carriage return ( and not the whitespace). In the OLD days of Active X Server pages, I did this every day. It was very useful.

Just point me to where in the code, I should look. I am optimistic that this should not be too hard.
