Drop instance event handling

Hi all!
For clarification: imagine, that we have drop instance that will be triggered on "hover" event.

As i found drop element is not hides, if i move my mouse cursor from target element to drop element.

I need such behavior for tooltips. Because when we have are long list of items, is not good, when tooltip overlaps top/bottom element and it's hard to hide it.
Correct me, if i can to do what i want through drop options.
If not, will you accept pull-request?
