Projects page needs an index if there are lots of projects

If there are lots of projects, the projects page is awkward to navigate.

There should be some kind of index to make navigation easier.
e.g. A-Z links to first entry starting with that letter, or perhaps sub-pages organised by initial letter.
Care needs to be taken not to make the index too big...
