Unfortunately, I haven't had any time since my initial (and partial) port, which only covered the network part. The middleware is yet to be ported. I might revisit this in the second half of September, time permitting.
You are welcome to take a shot if you want. Submit pull requests and I'll review and test.

I believe that you have fixed this issues related to the YAML files for the
network aspect. Have push those fixes to the repository yet?
On my side, I will concentrate on the Javascript aspect and submit my
change for you to review as you proposed.
