Opening on behalf of Volkswagen. They have multiple connections and also custom JDBC params to use with each. One thing they always struggled with is the ability to easily export connections and import into another workspace.

@katsoohoo as discussed, we can provide the alternative way to make this possible with what we have today before we judge the interest on this one from other users as well to help prioritize. Thanks!

Db2 connections can be shared using the method described in https://ibm.github.io/db2forzosdeveloperextension-about/docs/tips-and-tricks/sharing-connection-definitions.

There is currently no way to import/export connections using a UI.

Hi,

As explained in Location of connections informations and queries executions history, some informations should be shared into a team.

The best way to share information in a team is to use the Workspace, and the Workspace is often a Git Repository.

So everything that is not relative to credentials / security should be share in a folder / files inside the Workspace.

Hi @FALLAI-Denis,

You've brought up a good point about how connection information can be shared by existing in the workspace rather than a user-specific directory. There's been some data storage changes since #23 was opened, so we'll need to re-evaluate if the type of data we are storing is in an ideal location.
