Hi @phyziyx
I was able to replicate the crash when running the game on DX9 + Shader detail = high or very high. At the same time I can confirm running the game with Vulkan API does not show this issue, so please give this a try.

Just to set the right expectations... our driver debug team analyzed the crash and confirmed the root-cause is an issue with the game code and Arc GPUs, however since the game is quite old it is unlikely that the game dev is going to patch it. More so, a workaround in the driver is unlikely to be developed since Vulkan was confirmed to work correctly, therefore I wouldn't be expecting a fix anytime soon.

Hi @rmorera-intel and thanks for the response,

I will give Vulkan a try but I hope that the bug can be resolved for DX9 as well since the game has been updated couple of times this year.

EDIT: There is a lot of stutter, which I suppose is shader compilation stutter.

@phyziyx what about a 2nd run with Vulkan (after shaders have been compiled). Is the stuttering still there?

I do not think Vulkan is really viable since it does shader compilation on first run of each map, and the only reason to play the game is for its mods and multiplayer . That is you would play a new map which means your experience will be unpleasant.
