Differences between national adaptations of ISO8601

Hi, first of all thank you for your contributions. I was searching for this topic and I could not found any clear information such your project.

I also saw the title "Adoption as national standards" on Wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_8601

Some examples of standards (copied from Wikipedia):

  • Ireland IS/EN 28601:
  • Belgium NBN EN 28601 (1993)
  • Netherlands NEN ISO 8601, NEN EN 28601 (1994), NEN 2772

What are the differences of them? Most of these countries are also member of ISO organization. I check the preview of those national standards (document), they are also fully English. So what is the difference? Are they completely copy of ISO8601 or they have their own rules/differences? Is this national adaptation happening for all (any) standards of ISO?

I would be very happy if you have comments for that.

National adaptations of ISO standards (including pan-European EN) are usually just translations with some minor additions like references to older national standards that are replaced or affected by this.
