Hi, there were two points (1) incorrect copyright statements (it was complete, but some authors not correctly classified) and (2) there are some parts of the package not actively used (gtest used by ClickhouseCpp). We already tried to fix these issues and resubmitted it to CRAN (see changelog for more details). Anyway, thanks for reaching out and offering help!

Short update on the issue. The last update was also rejected. We got a short list of further TODOs, which Luca already incorporated (@tridelt thanks!). I just submitted the latest version to CRAN - keep fingers crossed!
