so i tried to use this instead of the hddsc that didnt even install, but this one doesnt show the faulty nvme drive either, altho i can see the drive and all of its partitions with the fdisk -l etc commands?

the disk basically just froze a picture on win10 and then only started doing boot loops into uefi all of the time (and windows doesnt even recognize the disk in the external hdd caddy)

NVMEs will not show up in Passthrough mode, Generic Source Device Mode has to be used, please see https://github.com/ISpillMyDrink/OpenSuperClone/wiki/Compatibility#nvme-ssds

how do i use or enable that? there is just some text on that link, but no instructions how to enable or use it

Documentation on the wiki is incomplete at this point, but the older HDDSuperClone Manual is just as applicable. The mode can be changed in the menu of the same name on the top of the OpenSuperClone main window.

An explanation of each mode can be found on the Basics of Operation wiki page.
