Strange Point to Area Prediction Area Surface

Opened this issue · 2 comments

When doing a point to area SNR prediction at 0.1 degree resolution, the contour values does not seem to be smooth over the prediction area. There are boundaries where there is a large delta change in SNR values. I am using isotropic/dipole_14mhz_10m_aagl.13 antenna, Any reason for this?

I'm not the one to answer this, but whomever is will want to know the particulars of your calculation. Probably a list of the inputs to the code that produced this would be enough.

This is a sample modified file I copied from the ITU\bin directory. I have used the output text file and plotted it in a software like GlobalMapper to visualise the contour gradients.
