Description
What upcoming standards may be useful for improving web performance? A few projects which aim to improve performance are Resource Bundle loading, deferred ES Module execution, Temporal (to reduce bundle size) and AsyncContext (to improve metrics and implement inherited prioritization). Which other standards may be relevant here? How should potential improvements be assessed, socialized and prioritized? Your thoughts here would be very helpful.

Agenda:
- Introductions, including (for those engaged in standards) which standards they are involved in, and what connections to performance these have.
- How could the web platform evolve to improve performance?
- When can improvements be in implementations, and when do interfaces/standards need to change?
- To what depth should metrics, prioritization, etc. be specified, and what should be implementation-defined?
- How should potential improvements be assessed, socialized and prioritized?
- Weighing implementation/spec complexity vs potential benefit
- Good practices for collaborating across organizations--often necessary to assess changes
- If you're working on something in this area, feel free to advertise your project here for participation.
