Found this tool and think it might be exactly what we need. https://github.com/EyalAr/lwip
It has a node.gyp dependance but anyone running node should be able to use it. If anything we can make a recommendation to use this tool and/or include links to this and ImageMagik and GraphicsMagik
Thoughts?
