It is not clear to user what information will show up in slides during the compo as Kompomaatti has input fields for entry name, creator, platform and description.
Suggestion:
- Add completely new field for slide information, "slide comment", "Diaterveiset", limited to 128-256 characters.
- Keep other fields as they are, though entry name could be increased to 128 characters.
- Create some sort of "slide preview" view to entry submit process.
- A compo slide should include entry name, author, platform and the slide comment.
- Could be just a 16:9 box with minimal styling (font, text size, color...)
- More simpler just add text on top of input field "This information will be shown in slide during compo"
Note that screenshow is not part of this repository anymore and no changes are needed for that.
In my opinion the description field should not be used in compo slideshow. Description has more information about the entry after event in Arkisto and during voting in Kompomaatti and I don't want to limit this to shorter length. One option could be to show first xxx characters and xx lines of description in the slide. Full description cannot be shown as its length is not limited during entry creation.
